CMR 2015

The next Contrast Media Research (CMR) symposium will take place in Resort Schwielowsee, near the cities of Potsdam and Berlin in Germany, on November 7 through 10, 2015. CMR was initiated by Elliot Lasser, San Diego, in 1970 and has since taken place 18 times. It has been and continues to be a unique gathering where top-level researchers from academia and industry have an opportunity to exchange up-to-date thoughts and new data in a collegial and open forum.

The format of CMR balances lectures and scientific sessions, with discussion between the audience and speakers playing a major role. Program topics include but are not limited to:

• novel CM in general
• CM for X-ray, US, MR, OI
• celluar and molecular imaging
• tracers for magnetic particle imaging
• future imaging technology: New indications for CM?
• ferumoxytol - USPIO reloaded ?
• CM in image-guided interventions
• safety aspects of approved CM
• safety assesment of new CM
• regulatory aspects in CM development
• outcome studies
• challenges for CM manufactures

All papers presented at CMR 2015 will have their abstracts publishied in the journal Investigative Radiology.
Participation is limited to those having received notice of acceptance of their abstract (submission deadline August 7, 2015). If an abstract is accepted for presentation, lodging and meeting expenses of the attendee will be covered by the Organizing Committee as far as funding permits.Travel expenses to and from the meeting site are not covered and are the responsibility of the participants. Attendees are expected to participate in the entire conference from Sunday morning (8.00 a.m.) through Tuesday evening.
A spouse rate of €500 includes all meals that are part of the meeting. Please pay the amount on site upon arrival.
